Pirates of the Caribbean is getting a reboot without Johnny Depp.

This was stated by franchise producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The project will be restarted with new actors and storylines. According to Bruckheimer, this will make it "easier for the crew to get together on set and not have to wait for certain actors."
