Riot Games has canceled development of its fighting game Pool Party.

The game was supposed to be in the spirit of Super Smash Bros. and MultiVersus in the League of Legends universe.

The reason for abandoning the project was the disastrous results of MultiVersus and unsuccessful attempts to rework it.
